We are happy to announce our official big opening date this next 9 of june.
Our artist will expose in this collective exhibition that will take part of our permanent collection.
We are very happy to announce that we're finally opening officially our doors, and sharing this big project where will coexist a gallery with a complete collection on sale, a store where you will find artworks of our artist with very affordable prices, and two or three temporary exhibitions every year, where local and international artists could use the space in the most witty way they can imagine.
A big list of artists will join us and dress our walls. Screen prints, drawing, sculptures, ceramics, design objects, paintings... all that accompanied with the tasty InEdit beers by Damm, bathed with the warms compositions of the guitar of Matias Costa.
Can't wait to celebrate!
Screen print exhibition,
Cardiogramas is a collection of ten images, screen printed with 4 or 5 inks, with the human heart beating as storyline of the collection.
Our heart beats 30 million times a year. It’s able to renew its own cells throughout life, a mosaic where those who are born with us mix with those that have just been created. The heart can be transplanted. We can live with another human being hearth and may even put ours in another body and keep it running. The heart is the first organ to form, it starts beating after 4 weeks since we’re conceived and will not stop running until we leave this world. The heart between all the other organs, is the one that makes the greatest physical effort, it generates so much pressure that could lift a pump jet 10m high. It can keep beating within the body because it generates its own electrical impulses. The heart is the protagonist at this moment, of this life.
An art gallery will always give light and colors to people's life. We were thinking on approach affordable art to our neighbours and visitors, and we finally get this formule: we talk with our favourite artist and set up this space. You're very welcome to meet us at the gallery, never ending art!!
"Absolute green is the most restful color, lacking any undertone of joy, grief, or passion. On exhausted men this restfulness has a beneficial effect, but after a time it becomes tedious." WASSILY KANDINSKY
